Farmer Training Centre Directorate continues to visit villages within the scope of specialisation
Since the date we became a Specialised University within the scope of High Value Added Agricultural Products, our work in the field of agriculture continues. In order to solve the problems and problems of the farmers of our province, our University Farmer Training Application and Research Centre Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail ALASERHAT and Deputy Director Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Murat GÜVEN visited Yüzbaşılar village in the central district of Igdir province. During their visits, our Centre Director and Deputy Director of the Centre listened to the problems of our farmers and suggested solutions. Our centre listened to the wrong practices of the farmers on the ‘Alfalfa Horticulture Beetle’, which caused great damage to the alfalfa fields, and explained to the farmers what should be done together with the solution suggestions. In addition, within the scope of our University's Regional Development Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialisation Programme, they stated to the farmers that our University continues to work in the field of ‘High Value Added Agricultural Products’ and that both the Farmer Training Centre, the Faculty of Agriculture and our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı ALMA are always with them.
